| I had to replace my old crossword helper from Franklin. This one, while quite inexpensive, does everything I want for a crossword helper -- just input the ??? and known letters and get the list. It also does jumbles. Our family all uses these for (especially the Friday and Saturday) puzzles. We were bereft for the week without one when our old one finally died. Plus this version is considerably less expensive than the other Franklin word dictionaries, which cost up to three times as much. For crossword puzzlers this is all you need. |

| This is a great learning tool. It also works well when working word puzzles. The bonus is that it has several word games to play. Great fun while waiting at doctor's or other appointments. |

| I purchased this for my Mother, who is 90 and still mentally alert!! She keeps herself that way by contantly keeping her mind engaged!! She does the Jumble and Scrabblegram in the paper everyday. Her Spelling Ace is right there at her side like a word bible. It is the way she checks her brilliance!!! It is so easy to use , and so so helpful.. It arived in what felt like minutes, not days and she just loves it!!! Her newest word find was "QWERTY" When I showed her what it was she was in AWE!!! |

| I am very pleased with this product. The last one I purchased was made by Franklin and so i decided to pick their brand again. My last one lasted for 15 years, all for a very low price. A very good product easy to use. I highly recommend it! |

Have used other Franklin spell checkers and have been more pleased with them than this one. The word display is actually too large; (you can't read much information at one time). You have to hit the cursor continuously to get the definition to feed over so you can read it. I prefer some of the other Franklin's where you can read/look at more of the definition in one clip.
This is definitely not our favorite Franklin product. I guess that it why it was a "good" buy. Pass this one by, unless you need large print - then it might be good. |
