I was surprised to see this item rated as low as it is on this site. This is a wonderful product and I have always found the word I was looking for. (Maybe we have a newer version?) Besides a dictionary, it has the date and time, word games, a calculaor and a phonebook. We love it! Good-bye heavy dictionary!
It's good!

Worked great. I used it a lot in college when i came across a word i didn't know. Loved the games and learned a few more words to add to my vocabulary. Using past tense only because it is packed away in one of my college boxes and have not seen it in a few months. I'm sure I'll be digging it up again.
great for young teens

My 11-year-old son got this as a gift and uses it constantly. He looks up words he's not familiar with and plays the word games to increase his vocabulary. We even play together sometimes! I plan to buy some for gifts.

This was a very disappointing product. I think it is a great idea - and bought 3 of them to give as Christmas presents. I'm returning 2 because it is useless. The dictionary is way too limited. During my first day of use, I looked up seven words and three were not in the dictionary. All three are readily available in my regular dictionary. All of the resources spent on games, address book, etc. would have been better spent on improving the dictionary.
Disappointing

I thought this was something I would use and enjoy. After just a few uses I can't be bothered with it. Most of the words I tried to looked up were not there. It may be of use to a gradeschooler, but anyone with a higher reading level would get nothing but a bookmark and I would rather use a paperclip.
Totally Useless

I didn't want a gameboy -- I wanted a dictionary. Where are the words?? The ribbon keeps getting tangled and the thing keeps sliding out of my book. I am sorry I bought it.
